White Oak is one of the most widely used hardwoods from America.
Pale yellowish-brown to mid-brown, often with a reddish tint, typically straight grain with a medium to coarse texture.
Similar to European Oak, the working properties of American Oak can vary from fairly easy to moderately difficult depending on growth conditions. Slightly stronger than European Oak due to it's greater density.
