Community
At IBT, we feel we have a part to play in supporting the local community and have, in the past, sponsored local
schools, customers and community groups to enable trips and events.We are proud that the vast majority of the team at IBT are local residents so engagement with local initiatives is high.
Recent examples of this would be our support
of Grangemouth Rotary Club's fundraising for a new Santa Sleigh for Christmas 2025, Strathcarron Hopice's Christmas Tree collections every year and over 50 local schools and nurseries assisted with products during 2024 & 2025.
Our colleague Jim McCarthy also ran the Loch Ness Marathon for Alzheimer's Society in October 2025, and the team fundraised over £500 on his behalf.
We continue with the support of projects at local nurseries & schools through the years and intend to support foodbanks during December months.
We have also attended Jobs Fayres at local Schools during 2025 and are looking to do more of this in the future. We are proud to not just promote IBT, but to talk about the opportunities in our wider industry.
COMMUNITY FUND
In 2020, we created the IBT Community Fund to raise money to support local community initiatives. We will fund raise through various events during the year and in turn, will pay this money back out to worthwhile causes. Please see the News Section and our Social Media Channels for more details on this.
This is an area we will
continue to support every year on an ongoing basis.
