Hardwood comes from broadleaved deciduous trees such as Oak, Ash & Beech although majority of our stock is of the Meranti species which can vary in colour from a light pink to dark brown.
A medium to fine textured hardwood with good machining properties and moderate durability.
Ideally suited for the manufacture of Joinery
Defects are few due to the controlled nature of the tree growths
