IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON DELIVERIES AND COLLECTIONS
The branch is open for trade with some safety measures in place, based on an entirely new range of logistical safety measures revolved around the current advice from Scottish Government on Social Distancing which can be found here.
COLLECTIONS
There is no longer a need to pre order. We are open to the public for collections between the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 12:00pm Saturday. The remaining times are restricted for Trade Customers who have a Credit or Cash account with IBT. Call us to enquire how to open one of these accounts.
We will be operating a queuing system with no more than 2 customers allowed in the branch office at any one time. We ask that you be prepared to wait a little while if you're coming to collect material, visit our Landscaping Display or to make an enquiry. We would also ask that you make your order or enquiry as quick as possible to mitigate the length of time for people queuing.
Hand sanitising stations are situated at various locations in the branch. We would also ask you to try to pay electronically as much as possible.
DELIVERIES
Owing to higher than normal demand, our deliveries are currently taking around 2 to 3 weeks to complete. If you order online, we will contact you to confirm date but please expect it to be 3 weeks from when you place your order and we'll continue to work hard to bring these times down.
ENQUIRIES
During this busy time, we still strongly advise you to send us your enquiry to enquiries@ibtmerchants.co.uk . There are 4 colleagues working through these emails so we will get back to you but it may take up to 1 working day. Please include as much information as you can on your email as this will save time and allow us to respond to your enquiry quicker. You can still call us on 01324 474755 but the phone is exceptionally busy and whilst we are answering it, the level of calls exceeds our ability to answer them.
Regards from all at IBT
